Gratiae Product Review

Gratiae or Grace, is an amazing skin care line that I am highly impressed with. I contacted this company after finding them randomly on Facebook one night. They were kind enough to send me four full sized products to review. HELLO, that is pretty awesome considering the price of their products.

Their philosophy is ‘Organic Beauty by Nature’. The basis for the products is spring water that is rich with therapeutic and rejuvenating properties. Folks from around the world are said to visit the spring for its healing properties. Of course, I am always such a skeptic until I can see it for myself and I did just that.

Nail Kit
Gratiae Nail Kit

The first thing I pulled out of my shipment was the Beautifying Nail Kit, valued at $49.99. This kit reminded me of another kit that popped up at kiosk in my local mall. I believe that company was called Seacret and had Dead Sea ingredients. This nail kit is perfect for natural looking nails. I am pretty sure I got an older, discontinued box because the cuticle gel is not called that anymore. On their website it is called oil. The oil is very thin and I can’t carry in my purse like I usually do because it will make a mess. It also didn’t smell very good either. I am not sure why. However, once I applied the oil to my cuticles they looked amazing and I was very happy with the results. The hand cream in the kit is to die for! It smells like cotton candy and made my hands look younger. I know it is hard to believe but I don’t lie! I applied it before bed and marveled at the results in the morning. Another good thing is it soaked into my skin and didn’t sit on top. It looks like they have scents for their nail kits now and I would recommend picking one up. I give this 5 Lip Gloss Points!

Body Butter
Gratiae Silky Body Butter

The second thing I pulled out of my shipment was the Silky Body Butter in the Apple, Green Tea and Ginger scent. The formula was creamy like a fresh yogurt and the scent is clean and light. I absolutely love this scent because it is not overpowering and it reminds me of just getting out of the shower. I wore it all by itself and just smelled my arms all day. The butter soaked into my skin and didn’t sit on top like other body butters I’ve tried. It brags of natural and organic ingredients so it could be a great fit for you all natural gals. I give this 4LGPs only because of the price point of $59.99. It don’t feel like it needs to be that much in order to get the same results. I see it at no more than about $30 and that is still pushing it.

Moisture Cream

The third product I was introduced to was the Moisturizing Renewal Cream, valued at $129.99. The 1.7oz is going to last me a long time and I so thankful they sent it to me. This renewal cream has a yogurt like consistency as well. I applied it after cleansing my face in the evening. I know you are not supposed to put your fingers in your creams to prevent germs and junk getting in there so I was glad to see that this includes a little spoon. I was able to scoop a small amount out and then take from the spoon. In the three weeks that I used this product, I didn’t see a difference in my skin, however, I did feel a difference. It felt more smooth and supple. I might recommend this product to someone that has some slight skin imperfections but not skin discolorations because you won’t get the results you are looking for. I give this 4LPGs because of the price point and the results.

The fourth and final product I was introduced to was the AHA Cleansing and Peeling Foam. I know, it sounds so official! I used this cleanser each night to remove any left over makeup after using my wipes. My skin immediately felt tighter and so very clean. I don’t know that it “peeled” like it is named to do but it did make my skin brighter. The smell is pleasant and not too scented. On the website, this claims to improve the water balance in cells but I have no idea what that means. The price point of $79.99 is way out of my budget but if you can afford it I would recommend it. I give this 5LGPs.

Overall, the products were amazing though overpriced. If I could afford to buy them I would.

I’ve never heard of this brand, but I love learning about new products. The apple, green tea & ginger body butter sounds great – I love light, refreshing scents and being an Arizona gal, my skin is always in need of extra moisture.

    1. Mommymellie, it is a light yet moisturizing cream. Us AZ girls always need to find something like this.

  4. That cleansing and peeling facial foam sounds amazing! I would love to give that a try! I’m not much into beauty care/facial care products like that but would definitely try that one!

    1. Leila, I recommend trying it. They have a coupon you can use on their site right now! It’s perfect for giving it a try! The code is bb as in brunetteblogger.

  5. Sounds interesting… I might have to try this one out. Another skincare line that’s been on my list of products to try is Vain Pursuits. I believe they do personalized skincare. Have you ever tried them? I’d love another opinion before I buy! 🙂

  6. Great review, lady! I definitely do need to invest in some moisture cream, though. I have been using Mary Kay and even Clinique, but I feel like it only does an OK job. I have really dry skin out here in AZ, since I think because I was born in MA I was born with Boston skin. I dunno! Haha anyway, I may need to look into getting some Gratiae. Thank you for sharing!

    1. Cathy, there is nothing wrong with Mary Kay and if it works, keep using it!

    1. I agree with you Jenn. They are out of my budget but it was nice to try something so luxurious!

  7. Great review. Great product. Thanks for sharing Melissa 🙂
