Keep Calm, I am 40 Now

Today is my big day. Today I turn 40. I have dreaded this day for the past 364 days and it is finally here. Now what do I do? How does a 40 year old woman act? Better yet, how does she dress and wear her makeup? Do things change from here on out? Is it all really downhill from here? These are the questions I have been throwing around in my head lately. Before I go there let me take you on a journey of my first 40 years.

I have decided to give you a simple timeline leading to my 40 year celebration instead.

2014-TODAY-celebrated my one year blogiversary and turning 40.

  • I have 477 followers on Twitter and 499 on Instagram. This happened without even realizing it. I was pushing my Facebook likes, which is now at 157.
  • I just launched my YouTube channel and I am working my ass off with 2 ½ jobs.
  • I will be a mimi to Mia Claire in November. Being a grandma is going to be taking up a lot of my time but I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!
  • My goals for the coming year is to increase my monthly income by at least $600 by being a Virtual Assistant and to lose at least 50 pounds.

Thank you for coming on this journey with me and I hope you will stick around for more of my writing! I still don’t have the answer to my questions but I intend to either find out or define them myself. 40 never looked so good!

  2. Well I will tell you that I will be 45 on Sunday & the person you are doesn’t change. The thought processes are a bit more fine tuned because with age comes experience but your makeup changes just a little (less powder, it falls in cracks you didn’t even know were there) but life for me is amazing. I love being over 40 and a fashion blogger to boot. I have more confidence than I ever had in my 20s and 30s. Forty is indeed fabulous so welcome to the Fab 40’s lady & happy blogiversary 🙂
